Background

Glenco Distributing was a wholesale distributor of appliances, furniture, and home theater products located in Denver, Colorado. Founded in 1978, it had established itself as one of the most reliable and successful wholesale distributors in the area.

  • Me (UX/UI Designer, Frontend Developer)

The Challenge

Most of their business had always been done strictly over the phone or in person. The challenge was to bring Glenco's products to sell online in order to broaden their business and increase sales.

Hurdles

  • The company had no previous experience with doing business online.
  • We had limited resources to get started.

Opportunities

  • Glenco had a solid customer base having been in business for 35+ years.
  • Glenco already had a simple one page static website, which had already been keyword indexed in the major search engines.
  • Most of their local competitors didn't have much of an online presence.

  • B2B - Local Denver Colorado appliance, electronics, and furniture businesses
